the monkey and the princess

once upon a time there was a little princess
she was born to loving parents who loved her like a pearl.
so sweet was her voice and so beautiful was her hair
she was loved by one and all, she was raised by so much care.

the princess once met a monkey and fell in love with it
so sweet was the monkey that she always wanted him to meet!!
the monkey also loved her and dreamt of her for so long
it took a pretty long time for him to even greet!!

a time came when they got drifted from their little world of wonder
there was no princess for the monkey and everything was a blunder..
the princess cried for the monkey and prayed all day and night
and hoped that there would be a day that would bring the monkey right...

it was a day so wonderfull when it happpened for both of them
the monkey met the princess and they were all in love again
a day so beautiful, a time that took them through
the days of innocence reverted and they knew what they gained

the princess now realised that the monkey was the prince
whom she had always always loved and cared for
and the monkey too realised that he waited for her so long
and none would let go eachother till death do them part for..

this is the story of the monkey who loved the princess so much
this is the story of the princess who loved the monkey as much
a love so true and pure, a love that taught them to cry
a love so filled with feelings that taught them to fly high

i pray for them always , for their love to survive
and i pray for their long life filled with love and a lot of strife
and i know that one day there will be a moment of joy
when both of them will have a love filled life!!!
