Hold me tight and make me sleep
My tiredness keeps me in a state so deep

I want a dream so sweet to see
That would take us to a place to be….

a handful of sky....

A homely house, a bit of warm sunshine
A small garden and some flowers
A terrace to stand and face the morning sun
A bit of earth and some showers

A bit of annoyance and some bit of comfort
A little bit of anger with a little bit of calm
Oodles of happiness with no place for the gloom
A home made of love and joy filled in a palm

I dream so often for a home sweet home
Where I find myself sheltered in your arms
I dream of being beside you for ever and a day
It takes me to tranquility and I feel the charm

Some laughter would be added as the days would pass by
Some sweetness more added to the happiness present
A lullaby, a song, some music, a melody or a tune…
Oh! I long for a life of lives so decent

I long for a handful of sky

I long for the bliss so precious
I long for the days of happiness ever…

THE PASSION

I feel you…
That you are touching me
I dream of you…
That you are loving me

I close my eyes
To feel your touch
And I find myself
In your arms so much

You look at me with love filled eyes
You take me to some distant place
I feel that I am flying high
I find myself much in solace

When your lips touch mine
I find myself in tranquility

I remain within you in serenity

The traversing hands overcome my vigor

The tremble increases my heartbeats

You explore me
I don’t know what’s right

I begin to loose myself

The passion overpowers both of us
Time and again
I close my eyes and feel

This love is maddening I realize…

I know its irresistible as such..

melody of the heart

A silence surrounds the heart
Some unknown force holds it captive at all times
I hear a voice that calls me all the while
And I recall some forgotten melody of the heart….

A song filled with so much pain
It traps me in anguish
A reflection of self
That entails the pain of the soul….

A feeling of self destruction mystifies up my mind
It leads me to a never ending depth of hopelessness

I try in vain but
The heart continues to sing
So disturbing at times
I cry aloud in frustration

The melody never changes its tone
A pain so monotonous….
So aching, so ugly
It has now conquered the mind so completely

But still when I think in depth
There is something an attraction
I love it within hatred
And sing it in desperation

The melody of the heart
Remains in the deepest of the depths
And the heart continue to dance to its tunes
No matter what happens to the rest….

the monkey and the princess

once upon a time there was a little princess
she was born to loving parents who loved her like a pearl.
so sweet was her voice and so beautiful was her hair
she was loved by one and all, she was raised by so much care.

the princess once met a monkey and fell in love with it
so sweet was the monkey that she always wanted him to meet!!
the monkey also loved her and dreamt of her for so long
it took a pretty long time for him to even greet!!

a time came when they got drifted from their little world of wonder
there was no princess for the monkey and everything was a blunder..
the princess cried for the monkey and prayed all day and night
and hoped that there would be a day that would bring the monkey right...

it was a day so wonderfull when it happpened for both of them
the monkey met the princess and they were all in love again
a day so beautiful, a time that took them through
the days of innocence reverted and they knew what they gained

the princess now realised that the monkey was the prince
whom she had always always loved and cared for
and the monkey too realised that he waited for her so long
and none would let go eachother till death do them part for..

this is the story of the monkey who loved the princess so much
this is the story of the princess who loved the monkey as much
a love so true and pure, a love that taught them to cry
a love so filled with feelings that taught them to fly high

i pray for them always , for their love to survive
and i pray for their long life filled with love and a lot of strife
and i know that one day there will be a moment of joy
when both of them will have a love filled life!!!

The Life Inside

My heart beats faster as I appreciate the life within me
I feel on top of the world as he starts to talk
I feel him now, I feel him every time
As I sit with him, as I take a walk

Days passed by and he grew with me
Talking to me always, and smiling
I still try hard to feel his shift
For it’s a deal between us of caring

Nervousness surrounds me every time
Sometimes he is so silent…
And as abrupt as it may sound
Yes, he is a bit too violent

He was growing, I could feel him breathe
And the heart was beating along
I talked to him all day all night
And took him for rides so long

One day he said to me, “Mamma
Please let me come to your world.
I’ll make you happy when you play with me
And I’ll turn your days to gold!”

The special moment of joy was there
As he smiled at me with delight
I took him in my lap so large
He was so sweet, so small, and so light…

I can’t remember how the days had passed
When I first felt his being inside
And my eyes fill with tears of happiness
As I see him sleeping beside….

I promise you my son today
I will give you a life of gold
But please don’t forget your mamma
As she grows some years old!!

Missing each other

I think of you, my helpless heart cries aloud
So much pain, I crib from inside
A feeling of desperation surrounds me
You are not there to sit beside

Days, I feel, are longer than ever
The nights are so cruel to me
I try to tell myself to be strong
And fight the heart that’s as lonely as me

Is it the same with you?
I ask this myself over and over again
And I feel the pain of your heart
I know there is nothing to gain…

Walking along with each other
We are in the same trail
And we are always together
But just like the tracks of a rail

But I do believe in destiny
For it’s the one that got us together
And I shall have patience a lot
For destiny to decide, nothing else does matter…

With this thought in my heart and mind
I shall keep on loving you
As I have always been
From the days of remembrance all through

I know my sweetheart
You too are in the same situation
But one thing we must realize
There will be a time which will change all condition

This time of testing won’t last long, I am sure
